Encyclopædia - limnopoeic

To make a description, a collective term for words like 'glint', 'gleam' and 'coruscate', i.e. words that sound like the noise a thing would make if that thing made a noise even though it doesn't make a noise. Created by Liz Deuchars from the Greek 'poiein' = to make and the Middle English 'limn' = to describe.
